DoT to organise investors’ meet in Bengaluru for Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone

NEW DELHI: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) is organising an Investors’ Meet in Bengaluru on Tuesday to further industry participation and attract investment into Asia’s first Telecom Manufacturing Zone (TMZ) being established in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The event is led by Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

This Bengaluru engagement builds on successful investor engagements held previously in New Delhi and Mumbai, which collectively secured investment commitments of ₹5,500 crore and are projected to create nearly 18,000 employment opportunities. The current meet aims to connect the TMZ initiative with Bengaluru’s robust technology, electronics, telecom, and innovation ecosystem.
