RPF busts laptop theft bid at New Delhi station

In a significant breakthrough in curbing the theft of passengers’ belongings, particularly laptop bags, at New Delhi Railway Station and onboard trains, the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Delhi Division, has apprehended a suspected laptop thief and recovered stolen property during a sustained CCTV-based surveillance operation.

Several complaints regarding theft of laptop bags from passengers travelling by train and from New Delhi Railway Station had been received through the Rail Madad/139 helpline.
