Airtel Cloud crosses 40 customers in a year, manufacturing firms lead adoption

Airtel’s homegrown cloud platform Airtel Cloud has reached about 40 enterprise customers within a year of launch, with manufacturing firms accounting for nearly a quarter of its base, as reported by PTI. Companies like VE Commercial Vehicles are among early adopters, reflecting how factories are digitising operations and seeking secure, India-hosted solutions for sensitive workloads. Launched in August 2025, Airtel Cloud is built as a sovereign, telco-grade platform hosted entirely in India. It is designed to handle 1.4 billion transactions per minute, offering reliability for mission-critical workloads.
