Salasar wins ₹20 crore deal to supply 200 towers for BSNL’s 4G network in Rajasthan
Salasar Techno Engineering, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, has secured an order valued at ₹20.5 crore to supply 200 40-meter towers for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL) 4G Saturation Network Rollout in the Rajasthan circle.
The project is part of BSNL’s initiative to expand 4G connectivity across India, particularly in underserved regions. Rajasthan, being India’s largest state geographically, has significant infrastructure needs that Salasar’s tower supply will help address.
This order reinforces Salasar’s expanding presence in the telecom infrastructure segment and its ‘Make in India’ manufacturing capabilities, marking its strategic diversification beyond its traditional power transmission business into telecom tower manufacturing and infrastructure.
Shashank Agarwal, managing director of Salasar Techno Engineering, said, “Supplying towers for BSNL’s 4G Saturation Rollout reflects the strength we’ve built in telecom infrastructure over time. It speaks to our manufacturing scale, our delivery discipline against defined timelines, and our commitment to Make in India engineering.”
The project further solidifies Salasar Techno Engineering’s position as a diversified EPC and manufacturing partner contributing to India’s critical infrastructure development across sectors including telecom, power, railways, and renewable energy.
