GlobalLogic launches AI-native ‘Test Automation Kit’ for 5G FWA, broadband deployments
GlobalLogic, a digital engineering company of the Hitachi Group, on Wednesday launched an AI-native validation framework – Test Automation Kit (TAK) – which it said can address critical quality assurance bottlenecks across the telecom industry.
Designed for both fixed broadband and 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), TAK is a unified automation framework that transforms plain-English requirements into fully executable, validated Python test scripts through its Agentic AI-powered core, according to the company.
This comes as broadband networks evolve to support next-generation technologies such as Wi-Fi 7 and 5G FWA, pressuring telecom service providers to deliver software updates at a faster cadence.
Legacy testing approaches, however, can be slow, complex, and maintenance-intensive, making it difficult for engineering organisations to keep pace, GlobalLogic underscored.
Built on GlobalLogic’s software footprint spanning more than 50 million connected devices, TAK helps bridge this gap by orchestrating and validating complex broadband environments across physical and virtual labs, including traditional fixed broadband gateways and 5G FWA customer premises equipment (CPE).
This enables telcos and broadband service providers to accelerate release cycles, expand validation coverage, and deliver more reliable connected experiences to their customers.
