MediaTek launches Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship mobile chip using TSMC’s 2nm technology
NEW DELHI: Taiwanese MediaTek on Tuesday launched its latest flagship System-on-Chip (SoC), the Dimensity 9600 Pro, adopting the advanced 2nm process node to deliver native agentic artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities alongside improved compute performance and power efficiency.
The chipset incorporates a dual-NPU architecture and an Agentic AI Engine designed to process on-device models up to 30 billion parameters while cutting always-on AI power consumption by 40 per cent.
