Fujitsu Research India driving Arm-based software push for MONAKA CPU: Priyanka Sharma

NEW DELHI: A top executive of Fujitsu Research India said the company is contributing to the development of Arm-based software stacks for the Japanese conglomerate’s MONAKA central processing unit (CPU), which is geared for data center and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

“From India, we are building the software engineering ecosystem. That means we enable PyTorch, OpenVINO, NumPy, and OneAPI implementations. These are different AI stacks, and our work forms the backbone of AI model performance on CPU,” Priyanka Sharma, director (software engineering) & head (MONAKA software R&D unit), Fujitsu Research of India, told ETElectronicsWorld in an interview.
