BCCL partners with OpenAI to enhance journalism discovery for readers globally

Mumbai: Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd (BCCL) has entered into a strategic partnership with OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, to help readers in India and globally discover journalism from the group’s publications and digital properties, including The Times of India and The Economic Times.

The partnership will improve how BCCL content is surfaced in ChatGPT, with greater context and attribution for users.

When relevant summaries or excerpts from BCCL publications are included in responses to user queries, ChatGPT will identify the publication and provide a direct link to the original article, enabling readers to access the full report and context on BCCL platforms.
