Anthropic’s $35 billion Lambda Deal: How Nvidia is expanding its reach across AI

Anthropic has signed a cloud-computing deal worth about $35 billion with Lambda, a cloud provider backed by Nvidia, WSJ reported. But the most interesting part of the deal is not just its size. It is the role Nvidia is playing behind the scenes.

According to the WSJ, Nvidia itself holds the lease for the data centre where Anthropic’s computing will take place, meaning the facility is not directly controlled by either Lambda or Anthropic.
