L&T deepens tech push in Bengal, seeks 10 more acres for data centre expansion plan

Larsen & Toubro’s technology ambitions in Bengal are set to get a further push, with the engineering and infrastructure major seeking an additional 10 acres of land in Calcutta to expand its proposed data centre project.

Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday assured L&T chairman and managing director S. N. Subrahmanyan of the state government’s support for the additional land, saying Hidco would take appropriate action on the company’s request.
