Vodafone Idea, BSNL agree to extend network sharing across circles: CNBC-AWAAZ report
NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea and state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have potentially agreed to extend network sharing across circles, a move expected to improve subscriber experience, CNBC-AWAAZ reported.
The scope of the agreement may cover intra-circle and inter-circle roaming, while optical fibre cable (OFC) and tower sharing are also in the pipeline, according to the report.
The development follows a meeting between Vi chief executive Abhijit Kishore and BSNL CMD Robert J Ravi on Tuesday (August 25), according to the report.
