Orbital data center startup Starcloud valued at $2.3 billion in latest funding
Starcloud, a startup building data centers in space, said on Friday it had raised $250 million at a $2.3 billion valuation, as it looks to expand AI infrastructure through orbital data centers.
SpaceX’s blockbuster IPO has rekindled investor interest in the space industry, including in emerging areas such as orbital data centers.
Manhattan West led the round that included new investors Nvidia and Cisco Investments, alongside existing backers Benchmark, EQT and Soma, among others.
