AI, smart poles, 5G network: Delhi Master Plan 2047 charts digital infrastructure push
New Delhi: The Delhi Master Plan-2047 envisages a digital infrastructure push, including 5G networks, optical-fibre connectivity, smart poles, and unified command and control centres, with artificial intelligence used for traffic, public transport, and urban management.
The plan, notified on Thursday, proposes using AI for traffic forecasting, dynamic management of public transport fleets and parking, while integrating real-time information for commuters and coordinating different modes of transport via app-based integration.
