Centre tells Meta safe harbour won’t cover CSAM violations, calls for increased sensitivity towards India’s cultural, linguistic context: Govt Sources

New Delhi [India], August 18 (ANI): The Centre has conveyed to Meta that safe harbour protections will not be available to individuals or persons involved in violations related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), while stressing that the government has exercised only those powers available under the existing legal and statutory framework, government sources told ANI.
