ISM 2.0 aims to convert India’s design talent into IP-generation engine: S Krishnan

NEW DELHI: The India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) 2.0 scheme aims to convert the country’s design talent into a globally competitive intellectual property (IP)-generation engine, said a top official of the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) Tuesday.

“ISM 2.0 aims to convert design talent into a globally competitive Indian intellectual property generation engine by supporting fabless startups and by providing access to infrastructure, including electronic design automation (EDA) access, design-linked incentives, and industry-academia partnerships,” said S Krishnan, secretary, MeitY.
