NEW DELHI: The 106 projects approved under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) will lead to the direct employment of nearly 75,000 individuals, with the potential to create 2.5 lakh jobs across all factories once they commence mass production, said a top official of the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) on Monday.
