Centre approves 31 more applications under ECMS, ₹7,877 crore investment expected: S Krishnan
NEW DELHI: The Centre on Monday approved 31 more applications under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), entailing an investment of ₹7,877 crore.
The approved projects cover a wider range of categories, including capital goods, modules for cameras and displays, anode material, rare earth permanent magnets, acetylene black, optical transceivers, speakers and microphones, relays, hermetic terminals, electrolyte additives, antennae, metallised films for capacitors, coils, filters, capacitors, and an enhanced investment in the copper clad laminates (CCLs).
