Samsung boosts India capacity to tap into AI data centre cooling market

South Korean electronics major Samsung on Thursday said it has set up a new facility in Pune for manufacturing heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems to expand its presence in the fast-growing AI data centre cooling market in India and Asia-Pacific.

The new unit, operated by subsidiary FläktGroup, aligns with the government’s Make in India initiative, and it will strengthen Samsung’s push into the fast-growing AI data centre cooling and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) markets in India and across Asia-Pacific, Samsung said in a statement.
