Tata Group’s listed valuation surged nearly Rs 17 lakh crore under N. Chandrasekaran

Under N. Chandrasekaran’s chairmanship, Tata Group’s valuation (listed companies) grew from Rs 8.53 lakh crore in February 2017 to Rs 25.20 lakh crore at the end of the August 11, 2026, trading session, a net addition of nearly Rs 16.67 lakh crore, according to data shared by SBI Securities. The brokerage analysed data of 21 listed Tata entities, including Tejas Network which was listed on 27 June 2017, and the adjusted demerger of Tata Motors.
