Info Edge Q1 Results: Standalone Profit falls 6% YoY to Rs 245 crore

Info Edge (India) on Monday reported 6% year-on-year (YoY) decline in its standalone net profit at Rs 245 crore in the first quarter, compared with 260 crore in the year-ago quarter. The fall in profit was mainly due to an exceptional loss of Rs 72.1 crore related to a diminution in the carrying value of non-current investments. Before exceptional items, profit before tax rose 23% to Rs 427 crore.

Standalone revenue rose 12% YoY to Rs 824 crore in the June quarter, led by growth in its recruitment and real estate businesses.
