Cops register case against Bansdroni resident over objectionable social media comments about Yogi

A criminal case has been registered against a Bansdroni resident for allegedly posting objectionable comments about Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on social media.

Police said they received a complaint from a BJP leader in south Calcutta alleging that the accused had used objectionable language against Yogi Adityanath in social media posts.

This newspaper is not naming the accused, although police have identified the person.
