Centum Electronics to invest Rs 500 crore in Karnataka: MB Patil

Bengaluru: Centum Electronics to invest Rs 500 crore to set up a new aerospace and defence electronics manufacturing facility in Karnataka, Industries minister MB Patil said.

Construction of the facility will begin in September at the Hi-Tech Defence & Aerospace Park in Bengaluru, the minister wrote on X.

The project will be implemented over the next four years and is expected to generate around 1,500 jobs. The facility will manufacture high-end aerospace and defence electronics, including radar systems and electronic warfare technologies, according to Patil.
