Ai+ launches a Rs 100 crore bug bounty programme to boost device security

Homegrown smartphone brand Ai+ on Thursday announced a Rs 100 crore bug bounty programme to strengthen the security of its devices, committing Rs 20 crore annually over the next five years.

Under the initiative, the company said it will invite independent security researchers, developers and ethical hackers to test its systems, identify vulnerabilities and help strengthen its security architecture before potential flaws affect consumers.

“The company is pledging Rs 20 crore annually for the next five years, totalling Rs 100 crore, to invite the tech and developer community to enhance security and foster trust within its devices,” Ai+ said in a statement.
