After PM Modi post glitch, govt to grill Meta team on child abuse material, ‘prominent accounts’

The government will raise a number of issues, including lapses in tackling child sex abuse material as well as wrongful action on “prominent” accounts, during the upcoming meeting with Meta’s global team, IT secretary S. Krishnan said on Tuesday, a day after a BJP MP declared that Mark Zuckerberg must apologise for Facebook briefly deleting a video posted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
