Atlassian’s Trello integrates MCP for AI assistant automation

Atlassian has announced a significant expansion of its productivity tool, Trello, by integrating support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This new capability allows popular AI assistants, including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Cursor, to directly interact with and manage Trello boards.

Users can now leverage these AI tools to automate various tasks such as creating boards, organising cards, updating checklists, and managing project workflows within Trello.
