Data center firms increasingly focusing on sustainability: Tata Projects’ Preiti Patel

NEW DELHI: A top executive of Tata Projects said data center operators are increasingly adopting renewable sources as part of their sustainability drive.

“If you look at the companies developing data centers in India, they are looking at green power sources, such as solar and hydro. Renewable energy is a clear focus area for them,” Preiti Patel, chief business transformation officer (CBTO), Tata Projects, told ETDatacenters in an interview.
