American Tower tops second-quarter estimates, raises annual outlook

American Tower raised its 2026 outlook on Tuesday after beating analysts’ estimates for second-quarter revenue and profit, driven by robust demand for its communications towers and record leasing activity at its CoreSite data center business.

The ⁠company’s ⁠total revenue rose 4.7% to $2.75 billion in the quarter ended June 30, topping analysts’ estimate of $2.70 billion, according to LSEG data.

Property revenue, the company’s biggest business segment, increased 6.3% to $2.69 billion, above expectations of $2.52 billion.
