Supreme Court to review Nilekani-led task force report, stresses cyber security for online NEET

The Supreme Court on Monday said it would first examine the recommendations of the Nandan Nilekani-led high-powered task force on conducting the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) online before taking a decision on a plea seeking computer-based examinations.

A bench of Justices PS Narasimha and Alok Aradhe observed that shifting NEET from the conventional pen-and-paper format to an online mode would require stronger technological safeguards.
