Intel rebounds after ‘difficult times’, reports its fastest revenue growth in 15 years
Intel reported its fastest revenue growth in 15 years, thanks to booming demand for personal computers and artificial intelligence (AI) data center chips. Revenue for the quarter ending in June jumped 25% year-over-year to $16.1 billion – surpassing Wall Street expectations. The chipmaker also projected current-quarter revenue between $15.8 billion and $16.8 billion, signaling continued momentum.
“AI is driving unprecedented demand for compute, and as we continue to execute, Intel is well-positioned to capture sustainable growth,” said Intel Chief Executive Lip-Bu Tan, highlighting strength across both chip design and factory operations, as per The Financial Times.
