‘AI ending humanity is complete nonsense’: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang challenges fellow tech CEOs on doomsday scenario

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has issued a rebuke against widespread ‘AI doomsday’ warnings, dismissing catastrophic claims that artificial intelligence (AI) will destroy civilization or trigger mass unemployment. In an interview with Axios, Huang warned that scaring workers, businesses and lawmakers away from adopting AI poses a far greater economic danger than the technology itself.

“The fact that this is going to be the end of humanity — it’s complete nonsense. The fact that this is going to destroy half of the American jobs is complete nonsense,” Huang was quoted as saying.
