California tech summit pitches for closer Silicon Valley investment ties with Bengal

Confluence2027, a tech summit being organised at San Jose, California, to bring Bengal and Silicon Valley closer, is pitching for a high-powered delegation from the newly anointed BJP government in the state.

Conceptualised and spearheaded by tech entrepreneur Rahul Roy, the three-day event will bring at least 20 venture capitalists, 200-odd investors and representatives of tech majors who could potentially look at Bengal for a presence.
