Sam Altman’s OpenAI launched Codex Micro, a limited-edition desktop keypad for AI agents
Sam Altman-led AI company OpenAI has launched Codex Micro, a limited-edition desktop keypad designed for developers who use its AI coding assistant, Codex. The device will offer users physical controls to monitor and manage multiple AI agents without switching between windows on a computer. Developed in partnership with hardware company Work Louder, the keypad features programmable keys, a rotary dial and a small joystick for quick AI actions.
The device also includes a dedicated button for approving an AI agent’s access to perform tasks, although some users may find that feature easier to activate accidentally.
