Canva cofounder Cameron Adams believes one of the fastest ways to cause employees to lose interest in AI is to force them to use a specific tool. In an interview with Rapid Response, Adams said Canva does not require employees to use a particular AI chatbot, such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. Instead, staff are free to choose the tools that best fit their work.

Explaining why Canva avoids mandating a single AI platform, Adams said employees are more likely to experiment when they have the freedom to choose.
