Macquarie Data Centres to develop 200MW tech centre in Sydney for $168 mn

NEW DELHI: Macquarie Data Centres, part of ASX-listed Macquarie Technology Group, said it will buy a 3.68 lakh square feet land parcel for $168 million (A$240 million) to develop an engineering and technology campus with nearly 200MW of IT load in Sydney’s North Zone (AZ1).

The facility will incorporate advanced air-cooling, closed-loop technology for its primary heat rejection, minimising operational water consumption, while supporting high-density direct-to-chip liquid and air cooling within the data halls.
