ACT Fibernet launches AI-powered Stream TV 4K device for subscribers

Wireline internet service provider (ISP) ACT Fibernet has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered “Stream TV 4K” device, which will allow its subscribers to conveniently find and access content.

“The AI feature enables users to find their favourite content by sharing just the intent “comedy in 30 min” or “show with the chess girl”,” ACT said in a statement Wednesday, adding that the device intelligently identifies relevant content, eliminating the need to navigate across multiple applications and services.

Stream TV 4K will be available to ACT Fibernet subscribers starting through two flexible ownership models – a rental option at ₹99 per month and an outright purchase option priced at ₹4,499 with applicable GST for both options.

With over 400 live channels, ACT StreamTV 4K makes channel navigation seamless by allowing users to enter channel numbers directly from the remote or browse channels through an EPG.

“As content choices continue to expand, discovering what to watch has become as important as accessing it. ACT StreamTV 4K addresses this by bringing together live TV and OTT platforms through our content-trained AI, enabling customers to discover content across platforms and live channels in their preferred language,” said Ravi Karthik, chief growth officer, ACT Fibernet.
