Israel cyber chief claims massive spike in Iranian hacking in 2026
A top Israeli security official has claimed that the number of cyberattacks launched by Iran against Israel has skyrocketed in 2026 since the US-Israeli offensive against Tehran began. According to a report by news agency Reuters, Yossi Karadi, the Director General of Israel’s National Cyber Directorate, stated that the digital battlefield has grown more aggressive. In an interview with the German newspaper Die Welt, Karadi provided data suggesting how quickly the conflict has escalated in cyberspace.
