COAI elects Airtel’s Rahul Vatts as chair, Jio’s Ravi Gandhi as vice-chair for FY27

NEW DELHI: The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has elected Bharti Airtel’s Group Chief Regulatory Officer & Director of Corporate Affairs, Rahul Vatts, as its Chairperson for FY27.

The Delhi-based telecom industry association has also elected Reliance Jio Infocomm’s Chief Regulatory Officer, Ravi Gandhi, as its Vice-Chairperson for FY27.

Vatts, who was recently elevated to the top roles at the Sunil Mittal-driven telco, also chairs GSMA’s Spectrum Policy Working Group and is a member of GSMA’s Global Policy Group and Spectrum Strategy and Management Group.
