Fight over Donald Trump’s $100,000 H-1B visa fee continues as Justice Department warns all tech companies

The legal battle over the Trump administration’s immigration policies has escalated as the government announced it will formally appeal a federal court ruling that blocked its $100,000 H-1B visa application fee. Alongside the appeal notice, the Department of Justice (DOJ) warned to technology firms and corporate employers nationwide to not exploit the visa system.

According to a report by CNBC, the legal response comes just three days after US District Judge Leo Sorokin in Boston delivered a blow to the White House by striking down the fee.
