Meta, Reliance Industries announce Rs 855 crore JV for AI data centre, enterprise solutions in India
Meta Platforms has partnered with Reliance Industries to build its first large-scale AI-ready data center campus in India. The Facebook parent will lease 168 megawatts data center capacity in Reliance’s hyperscale campus in Jamnagar, Gujarat with option to scale further.
“We’re proud to be working with Reliance to build our first AI-enabled datacenter in India,” said Mark Zuckerberg, founder and chief executive, Meta. “This world-class facility in Jamnagar will help us scale our AIinfrastructure globally while deepening our long-term investment in India’s economy.”
