Central agencies may probe Kochi Cyber fraud kingpin over suspected Cambodia human trafficking racket

KOCHI: The Kochi City cyber crime police have deepened the investigation into the activities of Abdul Rahman, the alleged cyber fraud kingpin from Palakkad with links to Cambodia, after evidence pointing to a large-scale human trafficking racket emerged during the probe.

Sources said central agencies are also likely to get involved in the investigation considering the suspected international human trafficking network and cross-border movement of victims through Southeast Asian countries.
