Exports, expanding sectoral opportunities to drive homegrown EMS players’ mid-term business: Analysts

NEW DELHI: The homegrown electronics manufacturing services (EMS) players are optimistic about their medium-term business outlook, supported by strong order visibility and healthy demand, and see benefits from their recently commissioned capacities, according to analysts at Motilal Oswal and HDFC Securities.

“Growth is expected to be driven by expanding opportunities across EMS, semiconductor equipment, telecom, defense, railways, electronics, and exports, aided by global supply-chain diversification, rising defense spending, and increasing AI-led demand,” Motilal Oswal said in a research note on Monday.
