India becomes a huge data centre market after government’s AI push: Submer’s Dev Tyagi

NEW DELHI: India has become one of the biggest markets, following the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-headed government’s ambition to play a leadership role in AI infrastructure, a top executive of a Spanish data centre company said.

“For us, India is one of the biggest growth markets. I think the government has been very vocal about its desire to become a leading light in AI infrastructure and workloads,” Dev Tyagi, president (UK and India) at Submer, told ETDatacenters.
