CBSE re-evaluation portal faces cyberattack attempt amid surge in student applications
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday said its online portal for re-evaluation and related post result services came under a major cyberattack during the ongoing application window for Class 10 and Class 12 students.
Board said the platform witnessed an unprecedented spike in activity, receiving nearly 15 lakh hits within a span of just two minutes. The sudden influx of traffic disrupted the functioning of the portal, making it difficult for students to access services such as verification of marks, re-evaluation requests and applications for photocopies of answer sheets.
