BSNL, Starlink explore partnership for backhaul, enterprise business

NEW DELHI: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) is in early discussions with billionaire Elon Musk-owned Starlink to explore collaboration opportunities in the areas of satellite backhaul and offering enterprise services.

“Starlink and BSNL executives recently discussed some of the potential partnership opportunities, such as wireless backhaul and strategies to offer services to large enterprise customers in India,” a person privy to the matter told ETTelecom.

Further, he said that no agreement has been reached so far, leaving room open for further deliberations.
