Comminent, Silicon Labs jointly ship over 5 lakh Wi-SUN-compliant modules in India
NEW DELHI: Comminent and the US-based Silicon Labs said they have jointly shipped more than 5 lakh Wi-SUN-compliant communication modules for various smart grid initiatives in India.
These modules are powered by Silicon Labs’ EFR32FG28 wireless system-on-chip (SoC). The EFR32FG28 platform enables reliable, long-range connectivity in demanding field environments.
India’s Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) is driving one of the largest infrastructure transformations globally, the companies said.
