‘Worst behind us, Vodafone Idea starting FY27 with a clear plan’, says CEO

Mumbai: Vodafone Idea (Vi) said it is on track to accelerate capital expenditure sharply from the ongoing first quarter of FY27 and remains committed to its ₹45,000-crore network expansion plan over the next three years, as the telecom operator remains confident about closing its long-pending bank debt funding.

Chief executive Abhijit Kishore said Vi remains “very confident” of securing ₹25,000 crore in funded debt and ₹10,000 crore in non-funded facilities from a consortium of domestic and foreign lenders.
