Verizon plans to continue job cuts: Reports
NEW DELHI: The US telecom carrier Verizon is continuing with job cuts, weeks after it slashed “thousands” of non-core roles, according to international media reports.
The latest round has impacted “several hundred workers”, with the majority at the telecom operator’s headquarters in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, according to Business Insider.
The report, however, did not mention an exact number of cuts, but it estimated that the layoffs have affected approximately 1% of the telco’s total headcount.
