Startups lead AI push into construction amid labour shortages

The construction industry has long been one of the few sectors untouched by AI. Not anymore. Over the past year, several startups have emerged, including Flo Mobility, Attentive AI, Origin and Pace Robotics, focusing on different aspects of the construction sector. Demand for their services is picking up, particularly in the US, due to the need to address labour shortages and the digitisation wave sweeping the sector.
