DoT trims Vodafone Idea AGR dues to Rs 64,046 crore, allows staggered payments

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has finalised the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues of Vodafone Idea Limited at Rs 64,046 crore as of December 31, 2025, following directions from the Supreme Court of India to consider the company’s grievances, said Vi in a stock exchange filing on Thursday. The revised figure is lower than the earlier provisional estimate of Rs 87,695 crore.

The DoT said the amount, assessed by a designated committee, will be paid in a staggered manner, with a minimum of Rs 100 crore annually over four years starting FY32, and the remaining dues to be cleared in six equal annual instalments from FY36 to FY41.
