Amazon expands Future Engineer Program with 500 new scholarships for women in tech

Amazon has announced the expansion of its Amazon Future Engineer (AFE) program in India, adding 500 new scholarships for female engineering students from low-income backgrounds. With this addition, the program now supports 2,200 scholars, reinforcing Amazon’s commitment to building pathways into technology careers for underserved communities.

Each scholarship provides Rs 2 lakh in financial assistance over four years for students pursuing B.E. or B.Tech degrees in computer science and allied fields.
